Kelly Cassidy and Paula Basta to debate

Sate Rep. Kelly Cassidy, the 14th District incumbent will take on challenger Paula Basta during a public and televised debate March 16.

The two candidates will respond to 10 questions during the 30-minute debate held at Mary’s Attic, 5400 N. Clark St. at 5 p.m. The debate will be moderated by Gay Chicago TV’s TJ Chernick and will be broadcast by the online television company’s website later at 9 p.m.

The Illinois primary election day is March 20.
